Dark Angel a fost o trupă de thrash metal din Los Angeles. Stilul lor extrem de rapid cu cântece de lungă durată cu multe schimbari de tempo le-a adus porecla de "LA Caffeine Machine", motto-ul lor fiind "Too fast,My Ass". Baterist Gene Hoglan este considerat a fi printre cei mai buni toboşari metal din scena underground din lume.
Aceştia au înregistrat 3 demo-uri (Gonna Burn,Hell''''''''s on It''''''''s Knees,Live Demo''''''''84) până la lansarea albumului debut "We Have Arrived" în 1984.
