Biografie Disturbed

Disturbed este o trupa americana formata in 1996 de catre Dan Donegan, Steve Kmak si Mike Wengren. Clasificati drept nu metal, Disturbed au castigat admiratia criticilor de metal si nu numai. Totusi, stilul formatiei ramane un subiect de dezbatere, David Draiman declarand ca exista probabil prea multa melodie si ca se considera drept o trupa de heavy metal. La scurt timp dupa formare, Disurbed au lansat doua EP-uri intitulate Stupify si Perfect Insanity. Piesa Down with the Sickness a devenit cel mai popular hit al trupei, fiind folosit si in filmul Dawn of the Dead. Pe 13 iunie, 2007 trupa a fost prezenta la decernarea premiilor Spike TV Guys Choice Awards, unde au castigat trofeul de Ballsiest Band, la stransa concurenta cu Lamb of God . Premiul a fost dedicat soldatilor americani, mai exact unei unitati care a folosit muzica Disturbed pentru a creste nivelul adrenalinei in timpul conflictelor armate.
