The Last To Know Chords - Sherwood

The Last To Know
Sherwood

This is basically a variation of Pachelbels Canon in D
Just listen to the song for the strumming pattern, if you cant get it, its easy
enough to make one up on your own.

Capo on 3rd fret

Chords used:
A, E, F#m, C#, D, D2*, E2*

(*See Below)

On the D2, just slide your ring finger over one, so its basically a stretched out D
D2:

| |-------|----O--|-------|-------
|c|-------|-------|-------|----O--
|a|-------|----O--|-------|-------
|p|-------|-------|-------|-------
|o|-------|-------|-------|-------
| |-------|-------|-------|-------

On The E2, just place your pinky down on the third fret, and it only requires being strummed once.

E2:
| |-------|-------|-------|-------
|c|-------|-------|----O--|-------
|a|----O--|-------|-------|-------
|p|-------|-------|-------|-------
|o|-------|----O--|-------|-------
| |-------|-------|-------|-------

(please let me know if these chords have names)

Verse 1

A E
Every single time
                 F#m C#
I see you in the street as you walk by
                      D A
Youre shuffling your feet as if to say
      E A E
Youd rather die.

Verse 2 (repeat chord structure from verse 1)

Than live so far from home
I wonder is that why youre so alone?
And if you found a place to call your own
Would you be fine?

Chorus:

    D
And you tell me that something good
   A F#m
Is bound to happen soon
    D D(mod) E E2(strum once)
And meanwhile you just wait inside your room

Verse 3 (Same as 1,2)

Do you find it odd
That you are not as strong as you once thought?
And even if you run you might get caught
So you wont go
And youll be the last to know

[piano solo + outro same as verses]

A, E, F#m, C#, D, A, E, A, E x2

and even if you run you might get caught
so you wont go
and youll be the last to know

Notes:
This is truly my first tab, I hope its alright, and if anyone has any feedback or
corrections, email me at devan.chick@gmail.com I tried to make it as error free as
possible, Im sick of reading tabs that have horrible spelling, its just a pet peeve
of mine. If you have any info on what I call the E2 and D2 chords, please let me know,
I taught myself guitar, so Im not very musically inclined when it comes to technical
stuff like this.

Thanks,
Devan from NH

PS, does anyone else think that the beginning of this song sounds mysteriously like
the beginning of the theme song from the cartoon show Doug?
